A Collective Vision
The New Deal framework was developed by A Way Home America’s (AWHA) network of policy Co-Conspirators committed to racial equity, leading with the demands, ideas, and expertise of young people from across the country. Each pillar of the New Deal will be co-created with youth and young adults, providers, policy makers, and advocates from around the country, followed by town hall discussions to unpack and refine the work. Proposals within each pillar will offer a roadmap toward system transformation, balancing a long-term commitment to equitable transformation with urgent, actionable reforms that move us closer to that end state.

A Roadmap Toward Transformation
The New Deal is a national roadmap that radically reimagines the systems outlined in the five pillars. It builds on hard fought efforts already underway and reorients them around justice for youth and young adults.
