Every year, National Network for Youth (NN4Y) hosts the National Summit on Youth Homelessness + Hill Day in Washington D.C. Our 2026 Summit is March 12-13, 2026, bringing together service providers, youth advocates, homeless liaisons, policymakers, and other passionate individuals. Together, we will advance solutions that ensure all young people have a safe place to call home.

Hill Day is the first day of Summit (March 12, 2026). On Hill Day, attendees have the opportunity to speak directly with their Members of Congress about our collective policy agenda to prevent and end youth homelessness. NN4Y provides you with everything you need to have a successful meeting, including assistance in scheduling meetings and providing detailed fact sheets with specific legislative asks.

Join the National Youth Employment Coalition for Rooted in Action, the 2026 Annual Forum, happening March 30th - April 1st , 2026, in Houston, Texas. This year's theme highlights the strength, creativity, and determination of young people and the communities who support them. The Forum will bring together young people, practitioners, policymakers, employers, educators, and leaders dedicated to ensuring opportunity youth and young adults have the tools to succeed in work, learning, and life.
Across three days, participants will cultivate connections, share innovative strategies, proven practices, and community-driven solutions, and explore how collective strength, perseverance, and action can drive meaningful, systemic change. The annual National Health Care for the Homeless Conference & Policy Symposium is the country’s largest gathering of practitioners of homeless health care, medical respite care, advocates, people with lived experience of homelessness, and researchers about homelessness. The conference offers tremendous opportunity to learn, grow professionally, reconnect with colleagues, and make new connections with our community.

We will then have a community weigh-in conversation, for state and local level YYALE (youth and young adults with lived-expertise), advocates, and community leaders to respond to the possible impacts that are and could be felt in their communities.

The objective of AWHA’s New Deal Advocacy Day is to engage with policymakers and their staff, to educate members of Congress about the importance of legislation and funding for programs that support homeless and at-risk youth and young adults. The event will highlight the need for adequate material resources to address these critical issues. The advocacy efforts laid forth on this day stem from AWHA’s 119th Congressional Policy Agenda.

The Center for the Study of Social Policy’s fall summit, Ideas into Action 2026, Shaping a Just Future for Families, will bring together leading voices, including: policymakers, researchers, service providers, funders, organizers, young people, and families who are directly impacted by public policies and systems for engaging conversations and practical workshops to advance policy and system change efforts that will set a new course and shape a just future for families across the country.
As we look ahead, we must forge a collaborative approach and ground our work together in a deep understanding of how public systems work today and what children, youth, and families want and need, so that we are poised and ready to implement change that meaningfully delivers for families.
Over two days, we will explore bold policy proposals and practical tools to address some of the most urgent challenges facing children and families today—from growing economic instability to making childcare more affordable to safeguarding child and family well-being amid immigration enforcement and preventing involvement with the child welfare system.
